Dominic Spooner has spent 38 years in investment banking across Western Canada and the United States. His career has been built at firms that taught him how to listen first and counsel second. Among them, Canaccord Capital and Macquarie Capital.
Over that time he has advised companies through capital raises, public listings, mergers, and recapitalizations across a broad variety of industries. He founded Birchwood to bring that experience to bear on small cap companies that deserve the same quality of counsel that larger firms reserve for their largest clients, and to do it with the kind of alignment that only comes from putting capital on the line first.
Dominic lives on Bowen Island and serves clients throughout the United States and Canada.
